"Sciogliere," is an Italian word meaning both "to solve" and "to dissolve." Fig. 1. Partial installation view showing ice cube sculpture and slide projection. The slide projection shows Brogger's earlier exhibition of sheet steel curtain sculptures in Chicago, Illinois. The format of this image is similar to that of the exisiting windows in the Milan gallery space and is positioned to appear as an extension of that row of windows; effectively dissolving the time/space between the two exhibitions.
